Though apart in person for so long, we've been through this thing together in all kinds of different ways and we cannot thank you enough for the support these past couple of years, truly. The shelves are now stocked to the rafters and we're pouring with abandon, so please come by and say hello. we'd love to see you. Additionally, we offer a tightly curated menu of wine and beer available for delivery through our partners at Neighborhood Provisions. Neighborhood Provisions also offers an amazing selection of prepared foods, pantry items and delicious provisions - all delivered to your door. Easy peasy, ya'll!

Planet Wine is a down to earth wine shop located in the heart of Alexandria’s Del Ray neighborhood. We boast an impressive selection of nearly 2,000 wines and specialty beers hand selected by our staff of friendly and informed pros on the basis of craftsmanship and quality. We're thrilled to host free wine tastings every Wednesday and Saturday at the shop. Drop in any time during tasting hours and explore fun themes and flavors with our in-house somms and visiting wine professionals in a casual, approachable environment.

Planet Wine's Comet Club is a way for us to offer a unique and exploratory wine club experience in the comfort of one's own home. We have developed access over the years to rare and select wines from around the world – and we want to share these discoveries with you. You’ll take an educational journey through the universe of wine, experiencing the vast complexity of the old world vs. new, natural and biodynamic wines, and what makes certain terroirs so special. Our team will lean on their travels, industry relationships, and love of small production wines to hand-select bottles that speak of the places they come from.
Each month you’ll enjoy hand-selected wines, as well as accompanying educational content, tasting notes, and backstory about the wines, vineyards, and producers behind the month’s selections. Members also receive 10% off all wine purchases and early ticket access to events.
